SALDO Meeting [CANCELLED]

The Planning Commission will hold a SALDO meeting on March 18 at 6 pm to continue review and revision of the current draft of the new Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance (“SALDO”). This document is available in advance of this public listening session on the Planning Commission website. The public is invited to attend this meeting to comment and provide feedback.
The Cumberland County Planning office will attend this meeting and will be available to discuss how the SALDO is a valuable tool for managing development in communities. The meeting will also include an open forum to solicit feedback, and for residents to ask questions and offer suggestions for the Planning Commission to consider as they finalize their efforts to rewrite this important document.
Once these sessions are complete, an updated version of the SALDO will be provided to Borough Council for consideration and an additional listening session will be scheduled to hear final public comment, prior to adoption.
