The Borough need your help! As you may know, Camp Hill recently developed a streetscape plan to enhance the appearance and safety of the Market Street retail corridor. The plan was the outgrowth of the Borough’s 2014 strategic planning effort, in which borough residents determined that one of our 8 strategic objectives was to develop a vibrant business corridor.

We already have some great momentum, and we are excited about the opportunity we have to continue our progress.
In order to help with funding to implement the streetscape plan, the borough is applying for a grant from the Pa Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED)
Showing community support for the grant application can really increase our likelihood of success.
There are several ways you can help show your support, and encourage others to do so as well.
- Use the template (.docx) to generate a letter to DCED sec. Dunkelberger.
- Write your own letter or note – something personal is always better even if it’s just a line or two – but it really helps if you mention the safety aspect.
- Share this information and request with other residents – through facebook posts, email, phone calls, etc.
- In the future, we’ll be providing information about reaching out to our state legislators and other steps you can take to support the grant application.
