Camp Hill Borough Receives Funding for Market Street Streetscape and Pedestrian Safety Improvements
At the March 26, 2019, meeting of the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA), Camp Hill Borough was awarded a $700,000 grant from the Multimodal Transportation Fund (MTF). This was one of four MTF grants awarded this round in Cumberland County through the CFA, an independent state agency charged with overseeing the funding of grant and loan programs administered by the Department of Community and Economic Development.
The project consists of improvement of the streetscape from 15th Street to 25th Street. Grant funds will be used to help construct infrastructure improvements as part of the Borough’s ongoing effort to create an attractive, vibrant and pedestrian-friendly downtown corridor.
Borough Council is extremely grateful to Senator Mike Regan and Representative Greg Rothman for their strong support of this project and their dedication to improving Camp Hill.
